Third in a series I hope will never end. Thomas Gartman I can't say enough to convey how impressive and new this story line is. The Safehold series is pure fantasy, but it's easy to fall into the story line and put yourself into the characters' positions.. "Enjoyable next step" according to Jody Maley. I like the complexity and depth of this series. Very good military SciFi with a leavening of politics. Getting this on my Kindle too.. Heresies Distressed Rodger Trent This is a good book, not a great book. The premise is very interesting but the pace and movement in the story has become too slow. It appears Mr Weber is trying to stretch a three or four book series beyond what he can do and still generate the attention and interest of the reader. I have loved most of the author's books especially the Harrington novels but felt left up in the air and disappointed at his inability to finish the
