DESCRIPTION:
teeny print, no illustrations but content is a great book this is the personal memoir of a soldier from World War I - he was also an illustrator and his cartoons of life as a soldier and in the trenches were very beloved and very relateable at that time. Unfortunately, this particular print of the book has teeny letters - a very thin book and it looks like print was reduced in size maybe to save on cost. There are no illustrations and that's kind of key to the book as while he describes his war experiences he also shows you illustrations and the story in the book tells you how he came up with his ideas for the illustrations and wher. Enjoyable KerouacBean I had to get this book for a class and I liked it a lot. I'll definitely hang onto it.. "Five Stars" according to R Robinson. Very fun to read. I ordered a "Fragments From France" collection on EBay.
