Excellent follow up to The Shield Amazon Customer I purchased this book as soon as I heard it had been released. I enjoyed The Shield and was glad of the chance to see how things worked out for the characters from the first book. I did find a few minor typos and grammatical issues that made it past the editors but fewer than I've seen in other Kindle novels. The battle scenes were well done without being overly detailed. The political machinations were well done and the ending is satisfactory although still leaving room for a third novel. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed . Kindle Customer said A good read. The political class in the story respond. A good read. The political class in the story respond as I would expect them to. The ways that Israel dealt with the different twists and turns of the situation were interesting and thought provoking. I would have like to have learned more about some of the central characters the book seems a little rushed at the end but set up the possibility of another chapter in the story. All in all a very good series and I would be certain to read a third installment in the series.
