The text and the illustrations could hardly be simpler, yet they are so well imagined and so well realized by Jules Feiffer that one may take for granted his skill in creating this masterpiece. I am partial to this book because it must be read aloud to be fully enjoyed--and not simply read but acted, as one might act out role in a play. I put my best foot forward every time I read this book to my audiences at the Children's Museum or for various schools because I know that the. Amanda said They love it and request it often. I read this book to my pre-k students. They love it and request it often. It's a great book to help children predict and the ending is cute. Keep barking George!
