Because the artifacts apparently were made when the lake was full, the oldest are approximately 8 million years old and the youngest are over 2.5 million years old. They would have been useful only when Lake Idaho was full and reached the artifact site. 160 pages, 8"x 10" glossy, hardback. Woodworking tools have been identified that probably were used in making dugout canoes and primitive log rafts. Photographs of 230 artifacts include 860 in black and white and 17 in color..
