We own all of the books and just wish that there were more (hint, hint, Linda Bailey)This was one of only a few books that my daughter chose to take on vacation last November and she read it repeatedly, making the long air travel much more bearable.. neptunemoon said Kids LOVE this series. Such a feast for the eyes! So informative! Enjoyable interaction among the siblings. My four kids love this entire series.

In the sixth offering from the Good Times Travel Agency series, the Binkerton kids find themselves transported back in time to southern France during the Ice Age. As they discovered on previous trips, the only way to return to the present is to read the guidebook they were given. The tale is presented on two parallel tracks: the first, a cartoon narrative about the kids' adventures; the second, the pages of a yellowed guidebook, which notes facts about Ice Age people, animals, tools, social life, hunting, music, language, and more.
