Perfect Companion R Harvey I have been reading Oswald Chambers and especially My Utmost for His Highest since college. Since my daughter has grown to love him too, I initially bought this book for her. Soon though, I was ordering another for myself and may end up ordering even another for my other daughter. I love the background on Chambers and where the passages his wife chose originally came from. I also love that the authors tell about various phrases he used and where they originated. This is a very enlightening companion, especially for someo. Wayne W. Litchfield said A great resource & companion. Oswald Chambers is timeless in the scripture. Two things sometimes make his devotion difficult to comprehend. This companion put context to his writings and relates it to today. I generaly understand what he is saying. Other times I have to read the day more than once. This companion is a "translator". I highly recommend this as a companion to My Utmost for His Highest..
